About Us - Crew 29 Lexington VA

Crew 29 originated as a way for local females to participate in the activities previously only available to boys. Fast forward a few years, and it now has 16 active crew members that are between 14 and 21 years old. 

Crew 29's mission is to provide more opportunities to youth to grow in leadership, high adventure, and team building. Many of the crew members are active in Scouting as well, and use Crew as a means up stepping up the challenges and earning new ranks.

Our program is open to youth 14 or older. Many members come from local scouting troops, but it's not required. Adult leaders have as much fun as the youth, and we can always use the help.
